Refund Policy
Last updated: 2026
Try before you buy. PhotoFroggy has a free version that is the complete application: you can browse your whole library, confirm it sees your phone, and export real files before spending anything. Please use it. It exists so that nobody has to buy on faith.
1. Why the free version matters here
Software is delivered instantly and cannot be returned once it is on your computer. The honest answer to that problem is a free version good enough to tell you whether the paid one will work for you, which is what we have built. Download it, connect your iPhone, and export a few files. If it does not do what you need, do not buy it.
2. Your statutory right of withdrawal (EU / UK)
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. That right is lost once delivery has begun with your express consent and your acknowledgement that you are giving it up.
At checkout you will be asked to consent to immediate delivery of your licence key and to acknowledge that this ends your right of withdrawal. If you give that consent, the purchase is final. If you prefer to keep the right, do not consent; your licence will instead be delivered after the 14-day period.
3. Outside the EU and UK
Licences are sold as final. We are not required to offer a refund and, as a rule, we do not.
4. When we will refund anyway
We would rather have a working customer than an unhappy one. Contact us within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you if:
- the Software does not run on a system that meets the stated requirements, and we cannot fix it for you;
- you were charged twice, or charged an amount you did not authorise;
- a defect we introduced stops it doing the thing it is sold to do, and we cannot resolve it in a reasonable time.
We will not refund because you did not try the free version first, because you changed your mind after exporting your library, or because iOS changed in a way outside our control, though in the last case we will try to fix it.
5. How to ask
Email support@photofroggy.com with your order number or the email address you bought with, and what went wrong. We reply within a few working days. Please let us try to fix the problem first. Most things are a settings issue and take minutes.
6. Who actually issues the refund
Paddle is the merchant of record for every purchase and processes refunds on our behalf. Refunds go back to the original payment method and typically take 5–10 working days to appear.
Paddle operates its own buyer-protection rules and may issue a refund independently of this policy.
7. Chargebacks
If something is wrong, please email us before contacting your bank. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the sale and takes months to resolve. We will almost always settle it faster ourselves. Licences associated with a chargeback are deactivated.
